Worst washboards I've experienced were on my way to Bahia Gonzaga about 20 years ago, before the road was paved. Went in my old '91 TLC 80 series, with @articulate and his brother. 50+ miles of washboards that tested all our suspension, only to end up w a wind storm that blew tents off the beach!
Also; some small progress on the Propex install.....drilling holes. To do this, I used an old paper towel roll, with a section cut out, and then wrapped to the correct dimension of the two outlet tubes of the HS2800....cut them to the correct length to where they hit the truck bed body, traced...
OK....another dumb(obvious?) question....why use copper hard lines for the propex? Why can't I just use 3/8" flexible line for the entirety of the run, from the heater itself, to the QD hull pass through to the dual stage regulator?
OK....dumb question since I've not plumbed a propex before....1/4" copper tubing and brass fittings; are these safe together? I dont need to worry about galvanic issues since its gas, correct?
@KellyM - While I cant speak to the OVRLND itself, I had an AT Summit before my current camper, and the filler plate was used as my Tundra bed was slightly longer than the Dodge Ram it came off of. The plate had a 90* bend that was bolted to the front of the bed using the factor rail bolt holes...
Started her up yesterday and drove around for bit; cycled through the 4wd just in case we ever get snow this winter.
Willing to trade(partial or full, depending on condition) for 7.3 PSDs, the OBS style(F350, no TTB) or 99-03(before the 6.0). Also been looking for a pair of Honda 400-500 size...
Very tightly....even w only three corners on, they dont come lose at highway speeds. Be aware that in cold weather, they take some force to get off the first time
