Joe,
I have run RPM calculators until I almost passed out and 4.10 definitely seems to be the sweet spot for a 37" tire cruising at normal highway speeds. if you are in a construction zone or the like, you can always shift into fifth. A friend has a 6.7L in a 2500 and it will cruise at 1200 rpm...
Does anyone know how the custom drawer organisers are made? CNC cut for each cup and plate from thick foam?
Any comparable products on the market other than cube pluck foam?
Steve, I miss that before (reading on my phone), apologies.
If there is any way you can incorporate a top loading fridge (swing or slide? temporary countertop or ?) then I would prefer that. They are super quiet and much more efficient than a front loader.
That said, check out these guys. I...
National Luna would be my choice, buy it once and forget about it:

What is the budget for Alpha or is there one?
Met a guy a few weeks ago who had 150K in an Outside Sprinter and said there were several things that he wanted but left out...
Chris, I am happy to delete this if you don't want it in here. It is difficult to undo the brain-washing that has occurred over the last few decades, but I am trying :D

25 years for US is correct and you will need to work with a Registered Importer (RI), a list of which can be found with your favourite search engine.
Trucks like that are not fast, even with larger tires and "fast" axles. They are military trucks or glorified farm implements, not an F-150...
Lightweight stick on solar panels, specifically for RV applications, saves weight over traditional panels, absorbs a larger range of the light spectrum, even at shallow angles and now you don't need the wood in your Fiberine.

Since you are a PB reader, you have likely seen this already, but in case you have not or for others who may be interested:

You may not be able to ride like him, but you can have a van like his!
I passed a relatively clean OBS Ford this afternoon and thought about your build. If they just had a better choice of powerplants in them, I might have to build one.
Ecoboost 2.7 swap anyone? :D
Steve, I am going to pick a nit here -- I have been mountain biking and road cycling for over 20 years, 23 to be exact and just don't understand the need to keep the wheels on, especially in a small space.
While I don't live in a Airstream or a van, I do ride frequently and for the few...
You can't post too much
I am sure you guys are slammed, but when you get a second, run back through the thread and pick up some of the questions if you can. I think there is a lot of interest in this build. (Edited, see below)
SPECS ARE HERE...
Air bag sensors have not been located in or near the bumper in YEARS, at least not on cars and trucks in the states. Why people think that a bumper has anything to do with an airbag is weird IMO. Air bags are triggered by an accelerometer or "g-force" sensor, i.e. you are traveling at 50 MPH and...
Maybe the picture is misleading. How high is the awning or the roof of the van cab?
I am thinking some things are kind of high and set back into the utility body a bit?
Maybe not and I don't remember the details from the first Asheville show.
thanks
Chris, it has been a few years since I have seen V4 in person; how do you access all the "stuff" once the roof is up? I assume that the bed platform is rather large, so you don't have room to "walk around" on the side of the truck and reach everything, but it appears to be quite high and...
