Random question, but was not able to find it in the FSM...what size is that axle nut(socket, not thread)? Does the socket need the little indexing nubs on it?
I used washers at the banjo bolts. The line itself, where is connects to the oil cooler joint, doesn't use anything. The joint to the oil cooler uses a small o-ring. The leak itself is at the oil cooler-joint-line attachment. I'll snap a pic in the morning.
Bringing this post to the top as I just finished the same project.
I initially thought I had to save the union that bolts to the cooler and line, but turns out I had ordered those and just took them off.

If you are doing that in-depth of an overhaul, I'd include a lot of the coolant system pieces like o-rings for the pipes that run front to back on the engine. Spark plugs and wires and gaskets for all the intake plenum stuff that you'll be tearing in to.

The tires fit just fine without the lift, and on the stock wheels. No issues with steering, lock-to-lock, and no issue with suspension flexion either.
So, two years later and I finally get around to getting a lift on this beast.
Thanks to Sierra Expeditions for the lift install and the bullbar. The ride is definitely better and once broken in a bit, should be just right for us.
