Can we get a closer look at the side plate? Looks like an extra plate bolts to it, and then towards the midline of the vehicle, correct? Aftermarket offerings don't have that.

FWIW, my 01 LTD does not have the rear AC.

Just took care of this fix, and didn't die from an exploding airbag! Judicious use of a heat gun help with the separation of the switch assembly itself. Great to have a working horn again!

Was this for an NM...Gen III? I did something similar on other vehicles to change the shifting, but it was all cable actuated and adjustable. Admittedly, I've not looked in to that option on the Monty.
