A bit more progress.... The t-case shifters are rebent for the new tunnel. What a pain. Things are pretty tight with the dash and new top panel area on the tunnel. The t-case shift levers have around 3/4" around them, but its still tight! I have no idea what I am going to do for a 'boot'...

I have a trailer, I will not be flat towing it. If I had to flat tow it for some reason I can pull the rear shafts right out through the spindle. A flange style floating axle is the strongest option I feel. Jeep 6-bolt style 27 spline hubs are not known for being the strongest units.

I voted stretch :) I would probably just buy a replacement cj6 tub and frame. Then just transfer everything you have over. That wouldn't be the cheapest way to do it, but it would probably be the easiest. I think with a cj6 your still going to have to pack light!
