Not trying to start a flame war. My older Land Cruisers had infinitely more issues than my new Wrangler. But I haven't seen this idea discussed yet.
After watching several of Ronny Dahl's youtube videos, I've noticed a few things about the 70-series Land Cruisers vs. the Jeep. It might be...
Every time I go up to Santa Barbara wine country, I come back really wanting a CJ8 Scrambler with troopy seats. Like this one I saw in September. I've seen them for sale for $7000 or so. Seems like the best deal for what I'd use one for between the $2000 rust heaps and $25000 show jeeps. Most of...
Is need a prorock44 with a regear and MCE fenders or the AEV 4.5 lift to run 37s though. 35s are a better compromise.
I want that bestop sunrider for the hardtop since even taking the freedom panels on and off is a hassle.
I might sell my topless odorless gear to finance my 35s and rebuy it...
I have a magnetic mount for it but haven't figured out where I want it. The passenger grab handle is too far away for quick access. I usually just let it sit between the parking brake and console with the button pointed up. But sometime it goes upside down and everyone is forced to listen to the...
Hey zig. I have a tuffy drawer mounted under the passenger seat. I used industrial strength Velcro to mount a blue sea fuse box to the back of it. And my ham radio body and speaker to the top. It's work d out pretty well. I think it might prevent the seat from sliding the last notch forward or...
Yeah. I used google+ after Flickr because google acquired Snapseeds web based image editing that was a lot fast to use than photoshop. I hear that it only worked on the chrome browser. That's why they made google photos. So hopefully they'll develop all the editing tools again.
Ugh, Google+ turned into google photos, removed all their great editing tools and doesn't let you delete images within albums. Not really into finding each picture within the original upload...
He bashes himself enough that I don't need to do it for him. But I'm amazed any brand or vendor wants...
Hey guys. I'm going to take down my Kokopelli pics and repost them. The trolls over on Wayalife freaked out on me when I suggested banning Northridge4x4.com for making JK experience videos was heavy handed. Now they're reposting all my posts and my pictures that I deleted before they banned me...
BillyGoats took the Kitchen, Stove and REI tent. I'm sure those are the only items this crowd would have been interested in. But thank you BillyGoats. Good luck with the 100. Now I have enough money to get a partner stove.
I'm finally about to order mine. I will miss using my windscreen as a utensil/spoon rest though. Anyone seen something like this for the Partner stoves? Do you need an adapter to run these off the 1lb cylinders.
I have a Teraflex 2.5 Budget Boost lift kit complete with everything. You can pick up locally in Santa Monica or I can ship on your dime.
The kit had only been on the Jeep for a couple months before I found a screaming deal on a lightly used AEV lift kit.
REI Camp Pack-N-Prep Tote/Table Camp Kitchen - SOLD!
Selling my REI Camp Kitchen. This thing has been great for keeping our ever more involved camp kitchen organized. And the pack turns into an aluminum table that's great as a prep table. It comes with 3 lunch box sized organizers and a...
I've seen Pat Callinans. But there's something entertaining about the All 4 Adventure blokes brash attitudes. It's very strange that it's no on iTunes, Amazon or any streaming service.
Thanks for the info! I ordered the 4.9 x 10"s for the AEV 2.5 springs and it looked a little tight. Returned them. I'll look for the 4.3 x 10" kit. Sorry for the hijack. Hope you sold these!
It's not the most exciting trail. But we went this same weekend last year. It got cold, but it was pretty empty, some snow on the ground and very scenic with highs in the 70s during the day.
Not sure. I wanted to try to hit up Monache Meadows before the snow but it might already be too cold. Our Baja trip got ruined by the Baja 1000. So next up is probably Death Valley.
