Husky liners are great for floor. Good fitment.
Never had a set of seat covers that didn’t feel like trash to sit on.
Cloth or leather? Toyota cloth lasts a LONG time. Leather? Not as long. Either way I’d rather replace seat skins at 150-200k miles than have to spend all that time sitting...
I have had a few rooftop tents, from garbage like Smittybilt, to Tepui all the way up to Autohome Maggiolina. The cheap ones are trash, and while the expensive ones are better, they still don't make for a great camping experience IMO. Frankly my Hennessy Hammock beats the pants off all of them...
Also very overpriced! :)
Always wanted an AT Atlas but even a couple years ago at $9500 they were friggin absurd. Now? Hell no. I have had several ~10 year old FWC Grandby's that were WAY cheaper and 100x more comfortable.
They don’t fail that often, and a 30 lb tent roof slowly closing in you is IN NO WAY comparable to an auto collision.
You guys are absurd. If my tent roof closed on me I’d buy a lotto ticket same day. Think about how long it takes rear hatch struts to fail on a car… 8-10 years generally...
Honestly if I had a 2021 Bronco that I could double my money one, I would too. I'll still berate these sellers for posting them here, however. BaT is the place to make that kind of sale, not here.
I have had the detroit locker and would never buy one again. Turning on pavement sucks. Winter driving sucks. On my old Frontier, even without applying the throttle, the tires would bind and the whole truck bucked if I were making a u-turn. Slightest bit of snow and I had to put it in 4x4...
Wow, about 16 hours after I posted this, I found a "rugged" model for sale online locally. Brand new never used. This is the one that I was eyeing anyway. Still had plastic wrapping on it. What the hell? Why not? I picked it up yesterday morning at a very nice discount over buying one new...

These look like a really cool concept but their site is lacking a lot of information. Pricing also appears very reasonable compared to others out there. I am interested in one for the sole reason that if it truly only adds 4" to the top of the vehicle then I could...
Payload on mine is 1850 lbs. 2010 long bed regular cab. I run 1000 lbs OVER that payload regularly, that includes off roading and twisting the frame enough to pop turnbuckles on my FWC. No frame issues. Been doing it for 2 years, ~22k miles. OME springs and airbags too. Bags don't need...
Why exactly? For a 1,000 lb load? Are you serious?
People think they need a big stupid ¾ ton to go get mulch at home depot once a year. Get real man.
¾ ton trucks are a headache to own, especially diesels. A Tundra will move 1,000 lbs around without issue. The original post is alluding to...
