I had one on my 04 F150. First one in Hawaii, too! :) It held up very well in the rain. No leaks or anything. I wouldn't hesitate to camp with one in a down pour. I did not have have any fitment issues on mine, FWIW.

I am borrowing a friend's truck just to see if I like my FlipPac on it. I don't want to drill the bed (obviously). Think it's safe to use 6 clamps from a regular camper top even with the top deployed?

I was recently given a Flip Pac. :victory: One caveat is that the torsion bar is broken. It still opens and closes but requires two people (and a long pole) to do it. Has anyone ever replaced the torsion bar? Not sure what position the bed has to be in when I put the new bar in.

Honestly, you should run 285s minimum. Buy your leveling keys from Ford. You need the ones from the same vintage F-150. Should be less than $40 for the pair. You also need to dial up Bullet Proof Steering or Cognito Motorsports to upgrade your tie rods at a minimum. The idler arm should be...
