    Softopper Yes or no?

I had one on my 04 F150. First one in Hawaii, too! :) It held up very well in the rain. No leaks or anything. I wouldn't hesitate to camp with one in a down pour. I did not have have any fitment issues on mine, FWIW.

    replacing flip pac torsion bar

Still waiting for mine. Been about 4 months now. First time I called they were $250. Now, they are $300. Anyway, I plan on buying two. One to fix mine and the other to have reverse engineered by someone here.

Need a Guru's help. Any out there?

I am looking to open a expedition-type tour company here on Maui and the Big Island. Some will be guided, most will be self guided. As such, I need to map out places around the island in which my customers can access to camp safely. I don't know a whole lot about GPS systems so I'm looking...

Hold a Flippac on with just clamps?

I figured it was safe. I just wanted verification from someone who has done it. :) I will use metal plates on top of the edge of the FlipPac (where the clamps clamp) to spread the clamping force. The FlipPac is mine, the Ranger that it will go on for the weekend isn't. :) Thanks for the...

Want a Flippac for my 07 Tundra - Finance question

I think your bank would be the best source for the answer. They, afterall, would be the ones loaning you the cash.

Hold a Flippac on with just clamps?

I am borrowing a friend's truck just to see if I like my FlipPac on it. I don't want to drill the bed (obviously). Think it's safe to use 6 clamps from a regular camper top even with the top deployed?

Truck sizing for my Flip Pac

I've come across a couple of ZR2's and would love to put it on that but they've been pretty beat up. If I could find one reasonably priced and in good condition, my search would be over. I just wanted to see if I could get a "list" so that I can begin my search for something else that may fit...

Truck sizing for my Flip Pac

I was given a Flip Pac that I would live in if my wife would let me...but I digress... It is currently mounted on my son's little 2wd regular cab S10. I am looking for trucks in which this camper will mount. According to Flip Pacs website max length for the bed should be 78" and width 64". Is...

Broken torsion bar on my FlipPac...

I was recently given a Flip Pac. :victory: One caveat is that the torsion bar is broken. It still opens and closes but requires two people (and a long pole) to do it. Has anyone ever replaced the torsion bar? Not sure what position the bed has to be in when I put the new bar in.

New Member, New Build...2001 Chevy Tahoe

Honestly, you should run 285s minimum. Buy your leveling keys from Ford. You need the ones from the same vintage F-150. Should be less than $40 for the pair. You also need to dial up Bullet Proof Steering or Cognito Motorsports to upgrade your tie rods at a minimum. The idler arm should be...
