Interesting info on the falken site is they do not have "duraspec" sidewalls on many of the models. Most sizes are listed as "standard" sidewall. I'm assuming that means just 2 ply.

haha yes! We did a "whole bernadino" run a couple years back. You guys took harder trails and did it in less time...I can only imagine how much more tired you were then us. Great pics and thanks for sharing!
Already mentioned in here but these are the aluminum version of landing mats. A good deal cheaper, but I have no idea if you could bridge with them.

Doesn't anyone read "The Emperor's new clothes" anymore? I still say this is all healthy. Carl will read his audience and costumer base better at his next interaction or take the business where no one dares to say the emperor isn't wearing anything. Thats a win/win in my book.
Its a good post all around. "Expo" has been a prime target for get rich quick products. The community is wising up as a whole. I was happy when the $20 hatchet painted green and selling for $70 was outted a few months ago. That means we are looking out for one another now and less of a group of...

5. sliders only because #6 will make you take harder trails.
6. rear locker for control on...
Those LEDs aren't built for efficiency like today's modern LEDs. Unless you have lots of 9v batteries to use up there are better options out there, although those will certainly work great. Try budget light forums.com for the latest good stuff or candlepowerforums for the latest expensive stuff.
I think you'd be lucky to run into one other truck with a SSB capable CB and when you do you'd have to teach them how to use it. I know thats a grim outlook but its really like that for 4x4. I'd guess truckers and base stations may be more into SSB, but if the goal is range and talk to more...
You'd have to set up a group buy to come out on top with that website. I've seen single ones for sale but then your savings is eaten up by the shipping.
