1977 K5 Chev Blazer Chalet

Found this on Cl. I was just looking . Thought i would pass it along. It is located in Kent WA. I do not own it.

It is Chalet #1102, built in 10/76. The seller has actually been listing it on Craigslist off & on ever since March of last year, never budging from his price. I've tried to tap a few of my Washington state area pals for the favor of visiting the seller in person, because what makes this one a bit unique is that the seller has some kind of Chinook company blueprint build sheets for the camper. Problem is, he is computer illiterate and has no way of taking photos and emailing those. Regrettably, no one I know is close enough to make the trip worthwhile.

Would be fabulous if someone could take a couple of good quality digi-photos of whatever print he has, or even do the effort this seller won't do and take the print to a Kinkos for a copy which I could pay for along with the postage for a tube mailing. I talked with the seller last year, he has several other car projects to show off, but one other guy I talked with more recently said the seller turned grumpy about allowing a stranger make a copy of it.............

I would but i live Spokane Wa. That would be fun to own if i lived closer i would take more pic of it. That's not cool that he is grumpy about it. You would think he would want to sell it.

Well, when I talked to him last year, he wanted to finance part a purchase of a classic Mustang. Interesting fellow to talk with....... but only after I managed to have enough patience to stick through the first minute or two. Despite first identifying myself as a former Chalet owner with an interest in keeping track of all the Chalets still in existence as the current owner of the blazerchalet.com web site, his attitude about sharing the serial number & build date of his rig had me giving serious consideration to rudely suggesting where he needed to go.

I am close. I will see what I can do. That has been for sale off an on for a lot longer than March. At least 3 years.

I will call tomorrow and go up there if I can.

Good luck & appreciate the effort! I missed any prior listings he had, my internet searches miss more than I wish. Always wild how some sell in one sale, while others languish unnoticed in listings for years.

Bummer. In all these years in emailing various Craigslist sellers, too few respond to my email inquiries that go in via the temporary Craigslist email addresses.

The ad seems to have already rotated out of circulation again, it sticks around longer in its Reachoo iteration: http://www.reachoo.com/ads/193532221 I could advocate a phone call to the seller, but no obligation of course.

I know of one here in lafayette but its all ripped up. No interior in camper, engines and tranny gone, hood gone, no rear door on camper. A sad sight.
