What makes it even tougher is that it is within driving distance for me...

If I didn't have my heart set on a Troopy.

why would you want a troopy over this? to me a troopy is too big to be nimble and too small to be a real camper. i think this cuts the right swath for compact travel. if youre thinking troopy, maybe you oughta jump on this. you could always sell it at a loss to me next year, if its not quite long enough for you. ;)

Now there's a great plan :). I just love the Troopys....can't help it. I would like to set one up for our weekend trips where we are carrying a lot of gear (bikes, kayaks, DOG) etc.

Ol Yeller is still available. I have had a few serious bites but no joy yet. I was perhaps a bit ambitious in my original pricing. I would like to get $17k but I am willing to work on the price. I just posted some new pics on Flickr.

Take a look and please somebody give this beautiful truck a new home with lots of trails to run on and mud holes to play in. If interested hit me on PM or send me an e-mail at safariteam5@yahoo.com

The FJ-43 has gone on to new driver who I am sure will love her and wheel her like she deserves.

Now the sickness begins again. I pass by a really clean FJ-40 every morning on the way to the gym. I never moves so I am tempted to see what the owner will take for it.

Safe travels

Au contraire! The Troopy's turning radius is smaller than a SWB Jeep and more volume inside than a D110.
