Is your AC system all stock from the 4Runner or is it from the 3.4 donor? Are any of the components, like the compressor and/or condenser new? Interested to see how well it cools for you with that 100+ deg temps. I live in S. FL and my AC (converted to r134 by me) is not very good. Works ok in the morning as long as I'm moving down the highway. In the afternoon when it's 90 deg and super humid it really doesn't matter if I'm moving or not, it's just not great. I'm thinking of tearing it all down and rebuilding the compressor, getting new expansion valve and drier, and just flushing everything really well, but I'd love to know how yours performs.

The compressor is from the 2001 4runner, I replaced the drier with a new one, but everything else is the original AC components. So far with high 80's temps I have no complaints with the AC system. It is plenty cold for me and I only have it going half speed as that is enough for me to keep cool.

Blazeland kit is currently sitting on my porch waiting for me to get off work!:smiley_drive:
I won't be able to begin the install until tomorrow though, putting my house up for sale and spent last 4 days getting it ready for the realtor to come take pictures tomorrow. Will soak all the bolts with penetrating oil tonight to have them ready for tomorrow.

Been busy selling my house so I wasn't able to finish the blazeland install yet. I ordered new ball joints, but one was missing parts so I had to reorder and am waiting on it to arrive to finish the passenger side. Also while installing I decided to order new Tie rod ends while I had everything disassembled so waiting on those to arrive to finish up also. I have the passenger side finished so here are some photos.
Tire width before LT

After LT

LT vs Stock.... LT had 2.5" more droop than the stock arms.

I currently have wheels with 3.75 back spacing, but will be swapping over to stock wheels from a 1997 4runner to lessen the track width. The install was pretty straight forward with the only issue being the tie rod ends being rusted onto the adjustment sleeves. Cant wait to drive it though and test it out.

Looking good! Can't wait to hear your impressions of the blaze land kit. I just picked up a 1990 pickup That I am thinking of going LT with

Looks awesome! I'm excited to see a full body shot of it. Are you going to put spacers on the rear? Do you still have the factory wheels that it came with?

I will take a full body shot today to compare the width with before. It is very wide now with the current wheels and 10.5 wide tire. They stick out about 4.5 inches now, but I put wheels on that I have from a 1997 4runner with 31x10.50 tires on them and they stuck out 2" at most so I will be swapping tires over to those wheels today possibly.
I have 3" spacers for the rear that I will be installing.

All finished and drove it around late last night and the front suspension is amazing, just soaks up the bumps. It is such a huge difference over stock, but now I need to figure out what I want to do with the rear setup so it is equal to the front.

Here is a comparison of what stock backspaced wheels with 10.5 wide tires looks like mounted compared to 3.75 back spacing with 10.5 wide tires with the blazeland kit

Awesome build! I have the Blazeland LT too and love it. I've had it on about 4 years now and never had an issue with anything. You're going to love being able to flex like this:

Jeff are you running low profile bump stops? and what are you running for your rear suspension? I am debating running deaver F67 springs, but doubt I need something that fancy so looking at their spring add on for a 1/4 the price. I am still trying to figure out how to make it so I can have easily removable air bags in the rear so I can haul my m101 trailer around or load up scuba gear and not have it ride on the bump stops.

Finally found a speed sensor that had the larger bore I needed. Found out that 22re rigs came with the larger bore and also 95-97 4cyl tacomas also came with them. I was able to find someone parting out a tacoma on craigslist and bought the transfer case for a lot less than any wrecking yard was willing to part with one for.
One issue was the tacoma has 11/28 tooth gear while the transfercase I am running used 11/33 the difference in gears:

I removed the shaft from both speed sensors and found that the one from the electric sensor has a shorter shaft so I would not be able to just swap them out.

I was able to set it in a deep socket and with a punch and two good wacks with a hammer the plastic gear was off. I did the same to the other one

Then all I had to do was carefully hammer the correct tooth plastic gear onto the mechanical shaft. Got it put all back together and it works! Not only that, but my speedometer is dead on with my garmin gps speeds! and no more check engine light for speed sensor
