Vehicle is located in San Francisco.

1996 Grand Cherokee Laredo (ZJ) V8
- ~128k miles
- 5.2L V8 engine
- Automatic Transmission
- D30 front differential
- D44A rear differential

I bought this Jeep in 2002 and have modified it for use on backcountry camping and skiing trips. All changes were made with the goal of maintaining freeway drivability and comfort, to that end the lift was setup to keep the center of gravity low while moving up to a tire size that can be safely run on the stock differentials. The weak links in the drivetrain have all been updated so that there is little risk of breakage.

The truck is targeted at trails such as Deer Valley, Slickrock, and Pardos trail and has run all of these many times with no major issues or breakdowns on the trail. The interior is clean and in good condition, the exterior is in decent condition with no major damage but some trail "pin striping" on the passenger side.

After owning this truck for 6 years it's time for me to start a new project and I'm hoping to get $4000 or best offer for the Jeep.

Sounds like a deal to me at that price. For someone to have a trail ready rig at that price point should be REAL enticing.

I really need to sell the Jeep since I have nowhere to park it. My new price is $3200. Anybody know someone who needs a ZJ built for the trail? It make a great camping and exploring rig.
