1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland/Crawl Ready

I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ) with the 5.2L V8 and 195K miles. 4.56 gears. Custom trussed Ford super 8.8 rear end with Chromoly shafts and an Eaton e-locker. Trussed front high pinion Dana 30 with Rough Country diff cover. Roof rack, tire carrier, rock sliders, and rear bumper are all custom made. Rack has mounts for hi-lift, shovel, and axe. ARB front winch bumper with Warn VR8000 winch and light bar. CB Radio ready to go. NP231 transfer case out of a Cherokee with rebuilt planetaries and slip yoke eliminator. Five 315/75/16 BFGoodrich KO2s. Upgraded "1-ton" high steer setup with knuckles from a Jeep WK and adjustable tie rod, drag link, front and rear sway bars all made out of DOM. Frame stiffeners welded to center points of unibody for extra strength. Acos adjustable spring spacers. Heat blows hot and a/c blows cold. Interior is stock. Light grey leather with wood trim on dash and door panels.

In the last 6 months (and hasn't been driven a lot since):
-New U Joints in both drivelines
-New BFGoodrich KO2s
-New Front Upper control arms --> old ones were a little worn out
-New exhaust pipe from catalytic converter back

This thing is an absolute beast and has zero leaks or mechanical issues. I'm probably forgetting a few upgrades but you guys get the general build. It's just an extra Jeep I built a few years back that doesn't get driven much anymore. Let me know what you think. I can send more pictures. (Guy in the photograph is not me). Price is $4,500.

I cant believe this hasn't sold. If I wasn't in the middle of building my own 1998 ZJ 5.2 id be all over this. Shoot i might entertain the idea of selling mine and buying this (LOL)

USMC Dude, if his ZJ is something your looking for and very interested I wouldn't let the distance hold you back. I purchased my LJ sight unseen. I paid the sellers gas and he drove it to me. Another option to is buy a last minute flight and fly out there and make it an adventure an drive it back. Thats how i sold my Power Wagon. Gentleman from up north flew in, I picked him up at the airport and he drove it back home. Some last minute red eye flights can be cheep. Iv also purchased an XJ by agreeing to meet halfway. We both had time invested so no one paid the others gas. My thinking on that was that if he trusted it to drive 400 miles to me, id trust it to drive the other 400 miles back home.

Dang, having built several of these I can say it's a steal at that price, with that steering it makes a huge difference in feel and reduces death wobble.
