I've been a member for little over a year, made a couple of minor contributions to the site and discovered a lot about the overland community thanks to this site.

With that, I am ready to move up to a better suited overland vehicle. I got a 2006 Toyota 4Runner and need a fund to get it started...I am offering my Jeep up as a good, basic platform to begin with, like I did. This is my 3rd Jeep Cherokee since I was 16, and definitely my favorite. Unlike my first two, I kept this one pretty mild as I discovered overland travel. I did not overly modify this Jeep, but tried to keep it in good condition for the last couple of years. I have driven it from Georgia to Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, and now it resides in Alabama.

I'd like to see this Jeep go to someone getting into this hobby or someone that wants a Jeep project (more off road ability). I don't need to move it, so I'm not looking to go much below the asking price, but I have a lot of parts that I would consider including if someone wanted to get into it, hence the package deal option.

Aside from the above mentioned items, I flushed the transfer case, differentials, and transmission upon buying it at 135000 miles. The car lived in southern Georgia and now Alabama for its life, so there isn't any structural rust at all.

In the pictures you will see a few items that are either not for sale or I will sell with the Jeep if people are interested at a discounted rate:

M8000 Winch ($400 if bought with Jeep)
Rear Storage Build ($300 with cooler/fridge slide, 6' plastic table, wood cargo platform)

A few items not pictured that I will sell with the Jeep or separately if people will pay for shipping
1. Tom Wood Double Cardan Driveshaft w/SYE kit for NP231 (never used it because lift was short enough it didn't need it) $300 with/without Jeep
2. Spartan limited-slip 8.25 locker ($200 with/without Jeep)
3. 1997 Jeep XJ Haynes Manual, Official Manual, 4.0L Engine Manual, Cherokee Offroad Manual ($50 for all with/without Jeep if I sell the Jeep first)
4. Random Parts and Fixes (Free with Jeep - 2 cardboard boxes worth of fuel filters, tubing, piping, fasteners, a harmonic balancer, installation bolts, new gaskets for oil filter housing, front main seal)

I will sell the Jeep with all parts/extras/winch/rear storage build/off road jack for $7500 Firm as a package (few hundred cheaper than buying it separately).

The Bad
Exhaust system rusted - still works well, and I never replaced it because I used this vehicle off road a lot.
Nicks/Scratches all over vehicle - used a lot off road.

Thanks,
Paul
