1st Gen Hilux 3RZ build thread - Stoffregen Motorsports

On a side note, I had to adjust one of my wheel bearings yesterday, which always perplexes me. I am a very meticulous mechanic (I spent ten years building racing engines and that will happen) and I have developed a method for installing and adjusting wheel hubs, but every once in a while, one needs adjusting. When this happens, it always has me wondering what I missed.

What are your methods for adjusting wheel hub bearings?

This is such an awesome build.....you should throw a chinook camper on the back instead of a bed.
After you mentioned it I spent a little bit looking into it. It's a great idea, but I'd never be able to do any crawling with it. Wouldn't make a good expo rig either, too short. But it would make a fun back country vehicle.

I love being able to do a comparison shot on builds like this.
I do it to keep me motivated...

That dash....so awesome!
Thanks.

No progress to report at this time. Too busy finding a use for a roller fairlead. I needed a rolling cart for my pressure washer hose reel so that seemed like the best use for the fairlead.
