I bought my set from Safari LTD in grand junction. But you can also get them from Kurt (cruiser outfitter) here on the board. I would have bought mine from him but I was under a time crunch when I did my lift, and kurt didn't have them in stock.
As far as the performance of the 4R, it actually isn't bad. I can keep 65 up a slight incline, but when it comes to the mtn passes, I'm racing semi's and VW mini-busses:smiley_drive:. Couple things I have done help my cause, first instead of going 4.88's in the diffs, which is the general practice with 33's, I went ahead and put 5.29's in, and very happy that I did. I saw no reason to worry about loosing a few MPH on the top end when I'll never drive that fast anyways. Also I chose to go with 5.29's, since I do live at altitude (7k') and my trips usually go up from there and I saw the higher ratio doing a better job compensating and helping out my my 4 little hamsters.
Second thing helping my cause, as of summer of '11 I completely rebuilt my motor. I did bore it out a tiny bit, I think like .010 on the head and mains and .020 for the cyl. Basically just enough to make everything nice and straight.
