Gotcha. The compressed and extended lenghts of the Bilsteins sound solid for the ride height you [and I] are running. The Fox 14s come in at 35 and 21 which seems like it would over extend or get crushed and the 12s are 30 and 18 which doesnt seem big enough.

The 12SBs are actually 16.1 to 27.68, the 12RBs are 19.53 to 31.1, then the 14SBs are 19.53 to 33.84. Ideally I'd like to have 18 to 32, but I can't find that.

Wow!!! With all that lift you should really think about gettin the terra firma radius arms!
I love mine!

You bought the ones I brought in to buy...jerk haha. I've got another set on order though ;)

Which front shock towers are you going to use? You are probably going to have to raise them a good bit. I had a set of 12 regular bodies and they were completely bottomed out at ride height with 3 in rovertym springs and stock towers.

I have the 12in short bodies up front and I had to raise my towers and relocate my coolant reservoir to make them workable. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but are you sure the 14in short bodies will work in the rear. I believe they have the same collapsed length as the 12 reg bodies I had and they were just too long for the stock shock mounts on the rear of the D2. I had 3 or 4 inches of exposed shock shaft, but they hit the shock body hit my lower shock mounts before they bottomed out.

My bumpstops are going to be set at 18.5", with 1" left of travel on the shock in the rear. Compressed distance on the 14" short bodies is 19.5. The front is going to be more difficult, and I will come to that when I need to.

FWIW at ride height I have 22.5" from eye to eye. Ideally I'd like to raise the lower shock mount and go with the SB 12s, but at the lengths now they don't extend long enough.

Indeed, at the angle the axle twists at, that's tucking on my truck. The tire is almost rubbing there.

I had 12in regular bodies, which I think have the same collapsed length as the 14in short bodies. I wish you the best of luck, but with my 12in reg bodies the lower shock mounts dug into the shock bodies hitting the speed bumps in my neighborhood.
