this is my tow rig but as yet, it has not rubbed. for testing, we drove up and down curbs at an angle, forward and reverse, and even flexed it out on some concrete planters in a grocery parking lot. no rubbing.
every truck is different, just have your local tire shop fit a tire on one wheel for you, so you can test fit it on the front. you can then decide if you want to go to the 315/75-16 tire.
