Ive looked at running 2 rtt...one above cab and the other above the bed/box...still looking for a decent priced utility bed and then just run a camper similar to yours.

RTTs are pretty nice, except when they get rained on and packed up. PNW problems. Service body and camper would be my first choice.

an RTT is about a grand at an entry level. 2k + for some. as someone who ran an RTT for years, I just didnt find the benefits to outweigh the limits and cost.

A couple Lunch Break Upgrades today:
1)

Swapped-out the 4 Jerry cans for four 3 gallon Rotopax.

Added the Grizzly G40 Cooler to the storage cabinet. Perfect fit; opens fully without moving the cooler at all. ARB chairs fit nicely on top.

Incredible rig. It's nice seeing another Starcraft camper on here too.

That utility bed is a beast and all that storage has got to be the best feature. I think the service bodies have to be one of the best arrangements for a full time truck camper setup.

Thank you. The Starcraft seems to be a nicely built camper. No complaints so far.

The permanent storage abilities of the service body is awesome. By Spring I will have each compartment organized exactly the way I want.

Next steps:
Mounting the HiLift, upright, opposite the spare tire, tucked in between the camper door and propane door.

3000w inverter installation in the generator compartment.

Get the CDM 1550LS radio programmed.

And considering removing and selling the TracVision satellite system, and installing solar instead.

you should of kept the 4 five gallon jerry cans, the v10 is a thirsty beast. very nice rig, I'd love to ditch my bed and shell for a utility bed and pop-up.

She rides like a dream, perfectly balanced and smooth with the camper weight. Considering a small lift, but not this season. Want to enjoy it while the PNW isn't raining, then do some work in the Winter.

when is it not raining in the PNW. I seem to only remember a week in spring and maybe 2 mos in summer when I lived in Portland. LOL
what make is the fuel transfer pump? that set up is bad ***!

Today I added the last Rotopax. Now only 5 gallons shy of the 4 Jerry Cans. If 5 gallons becomes an issue, I shouldn't have gone there in the first place.

I recommend the utility and camper combo.

I'll have to check the transfer pump info. I'll get back to you.

Deplorable
Do you fill the truck with the transfer pump? The reason I ask is I have the same pump on my truck to fuel my equipment, but it pumps so dang fast I imagine it would be a pain in the rear to fuel a utility bed because they are so restrictive.
