It's been a great vehicle for the last 9 years but the family needs more space so it's time to put it up for sale! Priced to move!
The basics - 2007 Jeep Wrangler JKU Rubicon for sale with 100k miles.
Everything you'd expect to find on a Rubicon - 6 speed manual transmission, front and rear electronic lockers, sway bar disconnect.
Amenities - power windows, 6 CD Changer with MP3 line in, AC, Cruise Control, jeep's all weather fabric on the seats.
A few additions - the obvious - An Adventure trailers Habitat camper top, shell manufactured by E-Campers, tent manufactured by NEMO to the highest standards.
The camper top went on in 2012 and has been a great addition. We've spent dozens of nights sleeping up there in total comfort. The tent is surprisingly roomy on the inside and could sleep up to 4 adults comfortably. It'll come with a pair of NEMO Cosmo Insulated Pads up top (http://www.nemoequipment.com/product/?p=Cosmo Insulated 25L) We found they fit perfectly side by side. I've put them into a double slip cover and added an extra layer of 1 inch memory foam to make things even cushier. The end result is about the most comfortable camping sleep system I've ever enjoyed. The camper top comes already wired with a couple of 12v accessory ports and I've added a couple of low profile LED strips to the uprights in the tent to light things up. Everything is switched and properly fused.
The camper top comes with a 5 lb sized propane tank mounted on the outside using an Adventure Trailers specialty bracket. We added a few more options to make living and camping out of the back of the jeep even easier. There's an interior cargo rack from Adventure Trailers in the inside of the cargo area. A stage one habitat storage unit is installed in the rear right side of the cargo area. There's also a tail gate tray table in the rear which holds a camp stove perfectly while you cook. There's another pair of 12v LED light strips installed above the rear cooking area for using the area at night. There's even a bottle opener out there to make things easier. You can get a good idea what the whole set up looks like at night in this photo from a great trip across Death Valley.

The inside is equipped with WeatherTech floor mats and most of the original carpet is still in place if you want it for heat and noise. There are few more modifications inside including a Vector off road JKE dock which adds storage and functionality to the front. You can attach ram mount style connectors to hold your cell phone or other electronics.

Under the hood the changes are really minimal and everything is almost stock and in good shape. One change I did make was to add a dual battery tray and install a pair of Platinum Diehards. The set up includes a split charger which automatically connects the batteries for charging while the engine is running and disconnects them when stopped so the house battery can be used independently.
Also to handle the 200 extra pounds of the camper top we went ahead and put an AEV 2.5 inch progressive lift under the jeep. The actual lift is fairly minimal and the progressive springs handle the camper both loaded and unloaded great. The jeep drives almost as well down the highway at 80 mph as it does in the back country. I've left the stock 32" tires on to keep unsprung weight down and have never needed anything more for the minimal dirt road driving I mostly did.
All in all the Jeep is in great shape. There's a light patina of Sierra Pin-striping on the jeep but over all the body is rust free. The Jeep is here in San Francisco where it's been garaged most of it's life. It's been a California Jeep since it came from the factory with only occasional winter trips to the Sierras. Oil has always been changed regularly and the Jeep recently went through major maintenance at Golden Gate Jeep in San Francisco. Earlier this summer a friend of mine was interested in purchasing the Jeep so we put in a fair amount of money into fixing up minor maintenance issues. His finances fell through but everything is about as good as can be expected on a 2007 Jeep. It's passed SMOG recently and is ready to go.
There's a couple of minor dings on the rear tailgate that are cosmetic so I've never bothered to have them fixed. The AT tent and top are in good shape. AT updates the seals around the top shells edge and has been resetting the tents to the shell as things break in so there's a couple of minor items to handle with Adventure Trailers once you'd purchase. I've discussed them with Mario at Adventure Trailers and the cost is minimal with them to do the updates I just don't have the time to get the camper down to Prescott to get them done. Mario would be happy to discuss the tops in general with you if you're interested and told me to pass along his contact information if you've got questions for them about the top.
Happy to discuss the Jeep and answer questions in general.
Feel free to PM me with questions.
Safe travels!
Jeff
