Look at your 100 series. It's basically a 3/4 ton platform. Now imagine everything is a bit bigger
With the Tacoma, the drivetrain is a bit oversized. With the first Tundra, the drivetrain was a bit undersized. Hopefully, the new Tundra will be on the oversized size!
