...my wife isn't to happy about me loosing the money in trial and error but she has driven the jeep and realizes it's not so much fun driving it the way it's sitting.

I've done that so often, I renamed the dog house to "Man Cave". Now it's much more pleasant place to be. :wings:

Your other wheels sold quick. She's gotta be pleased by that.

Lol I know what ya mean!

She was definitely pleased by how quick they sold, she was like wow...really that fast. I was pretty surprised myself.

Hmmm Just finished reading this thread and well it def has me thinking of a Patriot again. I almost bought one back when i bought my Trailblazer in '12 but it was a basic 2wd for the same money i got the TB for. I have driven a couple of them now one was an auto with the CVT and the other had the manual...cant recall if it was a 5 or 6 speed...either way it was a manual 4wd.

I ordered another set of hankooks this time in 225/70/16 which is right in the middle between 215 and 235. They will fit nicely on the stock 16's.

Kojack, I really wanted those kumhos but daggone discount tire offers great deals on the hankooks lol I got these for $356 to my door.

It's pretty much identical as except for the body.

Cool, So basically all the same suspension mods would work on one then. It opens up the field in terms of looking for one since it seems i see the odd compass going for a bit cheaper then the Patriots in my area.

Discount tire got these to me in less than 24 hours! That's pretty amazing!

The difference in weight and size between 225/70 and 235/70 is crazy. The patriot is gonna do much better with these and it should drop my weight around 15pounds per wheel.

I'm gonna get these suckas put on at 2pm!

Also I got my moog 81482 springs today as well. They are much smaller than the 81480! Which will hopefully lower the front end an inch.

Got these suckas mounted up today. In my opinion a 225/70/16 is the best off-road tire size for the patriot! I didn't loose any spunk or stop rate with these, and the riot feels more stable.
