Yeah, replacing one strut is something that never should be done. I replace all 4 every time.
I noticed this evening while going over some speed bumps that I still have this daggone sound in my driver side...they have checked the wheel baring, cv axle. Idk what else it could be...maybe a control arm? Idk but its driving me nuts lol

Could be a control arm bushing, sway bar links are famous for making noise, ball joints etc. I am betting on the sway bar link. or dog bones as mechanics sometimes call them.

I just checked and rock auto has the sway bar end link for $20 so I think I will order the left side and swap it out.

Thanks kojack!

I'm curious about the plastidip stuff. Where do you buy it? Do your spray or paint it on? Did you remove the Jeep emblem, apply the plastidip, then reattach the emblem?

Looks good!

Thanks man, you can actually get this stuff at walmart, and lowes. I used the spray on kind. I think it was around '$7 a can. You don't have to remove the emblems cause the dip will just peel off. Just tape off the area and spray away. A trick is the more you spray the easier the stuff you don't want will just peel off.

Forgot to mention its pretty durable and sticks to surfaces really well. So it takes a little effort to peel off.

Heres a vid

So just tape off the larger area around the emblem, spray the stuff on, then use something to get the stuff off around the edges of the emblem, inside the "e", etc. Sounds easy enough. What did you use to get the stuff off between the two e's in Jeep?

Yup thats pretty much it. I used a wooden skewer, That way it wont scratch the paint.

Thanks...I'll give it a shot.
Your welcome man. Plastidip is awesome, and if you end up not liking it you can just peel it off. The only i dont like is the overspray, you will have to use like a microfiber towel or even paper towel to rub off any overspray.
