Fortunately they were able to stop labor for now. Baby was in distress for a short time but stabilizer for 3 days of monitoring. Back at home, and now I have to head back to work. In the mean time I burned through 7 days of PTO (two weeks pay) and have bought two last minute plan tickets in a row. $$$

Most importantly baby and mom seem healthy and happy though. Hopefully baby stays put for a while.

Things are touch and go, as usual I guess. Checked into labor and delivery for a few hours yesterday and sent back home. Hopefully she'll go a few more weeks...

This afternoon I had some spare time. I flushed the differential gear oils, wear patterns on both axles look great as expected, since there has been no gear noise. I installed the teraflex differential cover on the rear axle. Since I was playing I also greased both driveshafts and all front end components, as well as the rear track bar bushing. Checked torque. All is good to go!

Latest update:
Multiple emergency trips home from Louisiana with the wife in early labor. Many hospital stays, many days work missed.
I JUST got into Louisiana for 16 days of work and the wife called, her water broke. She is still 6 weeks early. Last minute ticket home purchased (1200 for this trip), I only have six PTO days remaining.

Someone buy this jeep for $50,000. This is a STEAL for this rig! That is KBB private value plus $15 for about $30k in parts, all my free labor.

The last couple months have been hell on us and I need the money to spend time with my girls in the hospital and help my wife at home.

Brian, my thoughts are prayers are with you in this obviously stressful time.

I know personally, your rig is near ideal for how I'd build one (though I would prefer an automatic). Please don't think that lack of offers equates to lack of interest. The challenge in buying such a unique rig is that banks won't loan for all the farkles. They see Jeep JK = $30k. It takes a special income level to be able to disregard the limits of banking and finance and buy such a rig outright. I certainly wish I was in that bracket, but sadly, I and the majority of others are not.

There are however, several Jeep builders that cater to the Rockstar market, and sell blingy Jeeps for stupidly high prices. Perhaps you can list your rig with one of them, and do the consignment thing?

Yeah I'm aware that the financing is a problem, and expected it to take a while for the right buyer to come along (one with cash). I hadn't considered consignment but maybe it's worth looking into?

I get a lot of interest but few people have $15-20k sitting around to make it happen. Hopefully a price drop will get someone's attention. I really don't like the idea of selling the top separately but unless something else happens I'm going to have to. When I get home and out of the hospital, my husqvarna Supermoto is going on Craigslist and hopefully it will go quick, and buy me some time at home. If I can sell the jeep quick I can pay off my wife's car and some of her debts, and get her some more time at home. She's already missed a lot of work and right now I don't know when we will even get to bring baby home.

This really makes me kinda bummed to see you selling what you put a lot of effort into. It's funny as I think you were a bit of an inspiration when we got our EVO pup, and I've lately been eyeing a J30, so it seems I'm chasing you a bit...

And not to be a vulture (drives me nuts to see folks do it) but if you think about selling the J30 separate, let me know as I'd be REALLY interested...
