Picked up my Jeep today from the dealer and spent the day running errands. First, I'm very happy with the 315/70r17 bfg t/a. Very quiet (especially relative to the km2 I had on there before). The Jeep ride was noticeably improved - smoother with dramtically less roll and nose dive. i'm glad I listened to the advice and kept the 4.10 gears. I still has more than enough acceleration. One question I have though is the rear wheels are only about an inch and a half from the rock sliders. Is this enough room or will I need to trim it?

You will need to trim it. Most I see trim it about 2".

I have the same vehicle with a 4" lift and 35s, I didn't trim my 10A sliders and they've never once rubbed. I like your rack setup, I wonder if it would work with a snorkel or not..

Next steps plus pictures

Thinking of installing the AEV tire carrier fuel caddy this weekend. Has anyone done this and have any tips? In the mean time I have some pics to post of the Jeep pre lift in the Superstition Mountains east of San Diego.

Installed the AEV Fuel Caddy this morning and moved my CB antenna to the accessory mast. Went on really easy. 10 gallons of fuel in previously wasted space.

What trailer is that?

Its the back half of a chevy s-10 utility truck.. Chopped the frame, ordered an axle that was trimmed to fit the width, added lift springs, new shocks, tires/wheels, CJ7 fender flares, an extended tongue and a coat of rustoleum in battleship gray.. So far so good!

Springtail Solutions MPAC tailgate table

I installed my Springtail Solutions MPAC tailgate table today. Whole thing took about 20 minutes. The table is rock solid and fits perfectly even with my ARB drawers and factory subwoofer. The table has Molle attachment points and the combo came with two bags. Even better - no rattles!

Surf Shower 2.0

I upgraded/refined my surf shower setup this weekend. It was originally a pesticide sprayer wired to run through the 12v receptacle.

It was great but really took up too much room and I didn't need 8 gallons of water. I decided to modify a rotopax can and garvin roll bar mount for surf shower 2.0. I used the pump and hose from the original. I drilled a hole in the side (it's the top when mounted) of the can and installed a grommet and a length of 3/8 outside diameter hard tubing and a quick release elbow. I then added another hard tubing to the other side of the elbow and then inserted that into the 3/8 inside diameter tubing that came with the pump.

I them mounted the can to the garvin mount.

Now I have 1.75 gallons of water and the container is small enough for me to take it inside and fill it with hot water. I'm going to take some old wetsuits and make an insulating cover so the water stays warm longer.
