What size is your spare wheel? It wouldn't surprise me if the stock spare is a 17" wheel with a 265/70r17 tire, since that would match the OD of the original 265/65r18 tires. If that's the case, you may have to consider something like a 255/75r17 or 255/80r17, or buy a new spare 18" wheel.

Falken ATW also has the 255/80R17, a true 33". Since they're narrow, you won't loose as much ground clearance below the spare.285/75R17 is 33.8x11.2
this size seems to be a tad more also than a 255/80R17
Maybe I'll look for a used tire with half tread to cut down on the 33.80" overall diameter
But a new 255/80 is still a great option
Curious why you would entertain the thought of buying a taller tire for your spare (285/75r17) when your 4 main tires aren't going to get any taller with wear.
