I’m looking forward to it. I was on the fence but they have a free Truma promo which is hard to beat!

I may add some ducting to get the supply away from the return as well as the thermostat.
@Bigc3031 did you ever do this? I need to find the 80mm ducting to redirect heat away from my Truma as it’s building up under bed platform and eventually giving me an overheat error. It seems damn near impossible to find any Truma parts in the US. Did you find any, and if so where?

I never got around to it mostly due to it being a pain to find CONUS. It’s on my list this spring, we’ll see. I was surprised there were no 3d print plans available either. I’ll post it up if I get around to it.

Thanks for the feedback. My Truma was installed by AT Overland, so after I couldn’t find anything online or from the biggest Truma RV dealer in Phoenix (the parts guy said he wasn’t even able to order Truma parts, or at least the ducts), I contacted them online and a day layer Mario called me, said he had some, and sent me meter for cheaper than I could have ever gotten from the UK.

I also found that Webasto also has 80mm ducting. I only found one CONUS source, Heatso.com, for $56/meter plus shipping. I assume this could work.

Truma makes a great heater, but they have there heads really far up their butts about US customer support and any kind of DTC parts. Probably, in violation of the right to repair acts?

A few weeks ago I added a victron 800 watt inverter to the bed as well as the Bluetooth adapter and remote on off(I printed an enclosure for it). Super easy install and well worth the upgrade.

Today’s upgrade was adapting a coue
Of Frontrunner rails to my caps L track and hard mounted and hard wired my starlink mini using a Veritas Vans case and cable. I installed a gland and over sealed it because it’s a hole in a roof. I ran the power cable to the fuse box in the cap by the Truma. I may add an on off switch but we’ll see.

The frontrunner rails may be used to mount some max trax minis in the future if needed.
