2024 Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe

They do still make it and I am actually selling mine. I am doing the opposite and going smaller/more compact for what I use it for.

Pete this is an awesome trailer. I will spread the word.

What about Big Foot? Do they still do the Beast upgrade

BigFoot makes a great FGRV as well but I personally prefer the layouts and footprint of the Escape over what they have to offer.

Very nice! I can't believe this hasn't sold. What are you moving to next?

Still researching but leaning towards Arkto, BRS Pursuit and the Antishanty right now.

Had a BRS owner tell me to run for the hills on the US built BRS Pursuit. No idea why. Might want to really look hard and actually go to the factory . I know ROA had an AU built Pursuit that is a show/tester model for sale in SC for 75k. I wouldnt buy it until you see it as they might have mounted a hot tub on the roof.

I threw a little cleaner wax on the exterior after the last post trip wash. It looks a lot better, what a reflection.

I checked on the status of the Epoch Lithium battery in the Casita this morning when I was at my storage unit and the battery is still sitting at 299Ah without being plugged in for over a month now. It appears that it's currently doing better than its stated 3% monthly discharge rate. It'll be interesting to see if it can maintain that over the coming months/years.

Hopefully we can get a winter beach trip together in the coming weeks.
Every time I read something like "winter beach trip" my mind immediately goes "W.T.F!", and only after a momentary pause is there a "ah, because Texas" shred of clarity.

I've already got severe camping withdrawal syndrome, and I won't get my fix for at least another 2.5 months. Much sad.

Temps are currently in the upper 70's/low 80's and we are having tornadoes and hail. It's wild down here right now for this time of the year.
