True and to make matters worse, at least in this case, it is the aluminum that will corrode, not the brass.Beware.
Aluminium in contact with brass can cause severe galvanic corrosion.

With isolation of a polyethylene gasket and Tef-gel on the aluminum, the corrosion can be kept at bay.True and to make matters worse, at least in this case, it is the aluminum that will corrode, not the brass.
I also, very good for keeping dissimilar metals from corroding and seizing together^ I like Tefgel... great lube for SS bicycle spoke threads and aluminum nipples.
