Thin tires are a joy on the road compared to wide tires. If wide tires didn't have the look ever body likes then I think they would be more popular. I run 255/85/16's on my 4x4 van and like them. The freakiest tire I have ever seen I bought as a spare for my XJ. It's a 34/9.50/15 Swamper TSL. Thats the tallest tire that will lay flat on the floor of an XJ with the rear seat still usable. I'd love to see a rig with 4 of those. I think the tread on a bias Swamper is about a foot deep.

Probably the same size case, just another inch of added tread depth?
Those things do look more like they should be on an AG tractor, but I like them!

Funny you mention it, I have been referring to them as my new "tractor" tires.

Looks great! I'd have gone white letter out for the period look, but it is a slick setup all the same!
