Hesco has a 4.6L I-6 buildup they do starting with a 4.2L block. From there the similarity ends.
I built the poor man's stroker 4.4L engine. i've been running it since 1997 on my '82 CJ-8 rock crawler. It was built for torque and will pull like crazy at 500 rpm with peak torque at about 1400 rpm. Just had it smogged today and it passed California's strict emissions line with room to spare.
It was hot stuff in the last generation of I-6's, but.... what have you done for me lately?
