I have a '91 f250 extended cab, I got the truck to resell but I am thinking of keeping it and use it as my next adventure truck.
The truck currently has a fiberglass shell on it and it functions fine but I found a very nice 1983 Granby 4 wheel camper and the owner is willing to deliver it to me. It is set up with dual Optima batteries, 80 watt solar panels, and very clean for a old camper. I am ready to buy the camper but my truck has a 4 or 6 inch lift and 35" tires, I am thinkng of going to 33's.
Anyone put a 4 wheel camper on a lifted full size with big tires, I need to know what to expect.

I have been to Baja few times and all with a big truck with 35/37 tires and lifts. Some with 4wheel, Northstar Palamino and all are pop up campers, never a problem at all and great to camp in. One year we had a crew cab with 6" lift 35" tires with a full size Sunlight camper and that was a little to much on some of the roads we take.
