4th of July in Arizona

Monsoon action was all north of where my wife and I spent our 4th of July.
It was over Fourpeaks and north of Phoenix as we approached the Superstitions nearing Superior.
We did get a lot of great lighting in the late afternoon all the way through to the evening.
Getting back home was a pita due to morons stopping on the freeways to watch fireworks, fireworks are kind of boring to my wife and I so it was just a huge road block between my house and ourselves.

Speaking of Road Blocks.

Great shots. I haven't run into any desert tortoises in years and now you post this encounter and my wife stopped for one about the same size this week in our neighborhood. Cool.

On the 5th I also have these images with my Hella Micro DE's hooked up.
They added a lot of light to that of the stock headlights, more then double brightness and an even spread or light rather then the spotty blob from the stock headlights.
Being able to adjust outward added a greater field of vision as well.
Now if I can just get my roof lights connected.

This image it appears darker then it actually was, something I could have fixed but did not care for the results, so I left it dark.
