4x4 7.3PSD Chinook Concourse

That is one of the trucks that I have wanted for sometime that I haven't been able to find for a price that I am willing to pay. And you got the right engine.

I recommend that you get stated value insurance.

I recently sold my small motorhome, a little bigger than a Chinook. It was an e450 class B with dual rear wheels. I changed from the stock dinky donuts to Toyo Open Country ATII 235-85/16"s and gained a couple inches of height. Also, this size works well for the rear duals, no chance of them touching.

good to hear, I ordered Duratrac 235/85/16 as well so they should be be on by weekend.

This Chinook came with a set(6) of New 265/70/16 General GrabberAT2’s. They seem like good tires although probably not my first choice. I’ll be running them for now 82DA2EF7-72B2-4260-B9FF-8821347E8130.jpeg4FC9D90F-2344-4181-8129-5869CE25ED65.jpeg 4FC9D90F-2344-4181-8129-5869CE25ED65.jpeg4FC9D90F-2344-4181-8129-5869CE25ED65.jpeg

Have you considered doing a strip of Rhino/Raptor/etc. liner around the lower third or so? Just curious. Easy to spend other people's money. I have done this to one van and now I want to do it to every one I see.

I've been getting the Bugs worked out on my Chinook. The first I've done is to upgrade the tires to 265/70/16 BFG AT2's. These are 10 ply LT truck tires with a great load rating.
I also replace the Rancho shocks with Agile Offraod Fox 2.0 Shocks.
But most importantly, I replaced the circuit board on the fridge. It now works like a Champ !image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpgimage.jpg

Very sweet. Those tires seem like they would be too wide for dually application. How much room between in back?

There are wheel spacers involved. Sorry I don't have the specs on them. I replaced the tires with New BFG's AT2's when I purchased the rig.
