Alright I finally got some time to put the new heated filter head and electric pump in.
Made a bracket for the filter head.
Removed the old filter heads.
Bolted the new bracket to the old primary filters spot.
Mounted the electric pump and plumbed it in parallel with the old mechanical one.
Finished.
I used the old fuel heater wire to trigger the relay that came with the filter head. Said relay is running both the heater and the electric pump, if both these turn out to be to much for the relay I will get the pump its own.
Running the electric pump to prime to new filter worked awesome. I used the valve and clear tube to get most the air out then closed the valve, took the clear line off and plugged the fitting. Fired her up and is working good.

I might be interested in your old filter setup for my 6.2 project. I did to work out something and here in Arizona I am not as worried about fuel heating 
My biggest concern is quality of filter as I go to mexico and lots of way remote areas where fuel might sit or have water.

The stock filter setup did seem to work well the little filter bolts to the back of the intake manifold kind of a pain to change, but stayed plenty warm over night plugged in. The primary filter did not stay warm enough mounted up on the firewall and I did get gelled up a couple of times, but I was also running bio blends at about 80% and it got colder earlier than I expected.
On that note I am running mostly bio again and night time temps have been in the 20's and I have had no issues so far.

Updates: The baconator now has a 14 bolt ff rear with discs and a dana 44 front with a limited slip. bftank and I also put longer shackles and a zero rate block on the front and threw a 2.5 inch block under the rear to bring it back up level. The 14 bolt still needs a locker, but that will be a project for next spring or summer.
I sold the 2007 Ram as it was costing to much to keep in the drive way and look at since I don't pull a trailer around much any more. Since I sold that I had a nice set of H2 rims that needed to go to work so I put them and some new 285/70r17's on the baconator.
Then I went and tested them getting some firewood.
