That is quite the comment. Thanks!

Up next, replacing the Neutral Safety Switch (NSS). I encountered a problem a few months back while exploring up in the Cascades. I was unable to utilize 4th gear, which left me cruising at 50MPH, in third gear....

Are you sure? That sounds like lock-up solenoids..... I don't see how a faulty NSS would keep you from driving in OD.... What was the code they pulled?

According to the code scanner, the CEL pulled was P0705. It only happened for that day, and that day only. I'm not sure if it was because I was shoveling snow half the time or what. I figured it would be best off to replace a 12 year old part anyhow. Piece of mind.

Ok, so today marks a somewhat busy day for me. I am moving 70 miles south, to continue my education, so there was a few things I wanted to get done to the Jeep before I won't have garage space and access to a boat load of tools. I headed over to my girlfriends grandpa's, who I'd also consider my grandpa as well, to use his awesome shop space and abundant amount of air tools, wrenches, sockets, etc. My two tasks in mind; Replacing my Neutral Safety Switch (NSS), which was on its last leg, and install my new ladder shipped from CVT.
I started off doing the NSS. I really had no problems and the removal and installation went smooth. The most time I spent was maneuvering the wire cutters to snip the zip ties starting from the transmission to the transmission dipstick. Their were three zip ties along the way. I used these two write-ups here:

I proceeded to move onto fitting my CVT RTT with a brand new ladder. The ladder is one of their older, as well as common, designs for RTT use. Unfortunately, the telescopic ladder never seemed to lock correctly and I was about at my wits end with it. One call to Bobby at CVT, and a ladder was on it's way. I can't say enough about this company and their customer service... second to none! Anywho, the sliding ladder did require drilling one new hole for the ladder mount. The telescopic ladder is a little wider than the sliding ladder, so that is why. In contrast, the inner bolt and nut now becomes the outside bolt and nut.

Once you drill a new hole, all you essentially have to do now is fill the void and wallah! Moving onto the sliding ladder now... The sliding ladder comes with one pre-drilled hole. The ladder stuck a little far out for my liking, so I decided to drill my own new holes so that the ladder could sit at the angle that I liked it.

It was a good day to get things down. My next adventure... packing the Jeep up and trekking down I-5 to my new home (apartment).

As fast as I got it, I sold it. I didn't even un-box it. As a matter of fact, I just unloaded to a forum member on here. I sold it because I won't be able to get out until Spring Break at most, due to work (part-time) and college. I do plan on purchasing one down the road though.

I did purchase another significant, well significant to me, piece of equipment. It's something I've wanted for a long time.

Hey! Thanks, appreciate the comment. I cannot wait to get an ARB Bull Bar... I just got to wait until a smokin' deal comes on Craigslist!

I'm not sure if she encourages it, she just likes to surprise and see a smile on my face! Without a doubt that, i'm a lucky one!

Anywho, here is my recent purchase. I am pumped!

Nice, I got a Nikon D7000 a few months ago. I was debating between it and the 7D but I had a Nikon lens I wanted to keep and I was familiar with Nikon having previously owned a D40. Either way, both nice cameras and you'll love that canon.

Ah, nice! I simply liked the way it felt in my hands, plus I have a few friends with Canon's so interchangeable gear is a plus! I'm excited to get to use it.
