I realize this is my first post, but after watching the video, and listening to a few things he said, I can see his point about people talking trash because they can hide behind the anonymity of the Internet, which is perfectly proven by this quote by eblau
I live in Fl now, but lived in NoVa for many years, and while there are a lot of ****************** people up there, it certainly isn't everyone. And I can tell you that there are a few good clubs in NoVa that love to wheel, Off Camber Crawlers happens to be the one I did some wheeling with. Good people.
But the video's OP made a good point about people putting on fronts, and from what I have seen on various boards dealing with various interests I have, it's a real issue. I have seen people go after the livelihoods of people because things got out of control. And I see it in this thread too, and eblau is an example of the problem. And eblau, you might want to watch the video again and listen. I don't think the guy lives in NoVa, but out around 81 from what I can gather from what he says about where he has gone wheeling. To get to the GWNF from Herndon is about an hour and a half, and he apparently lives fairly close to there if the mountains are any indication. We didn't have those in NoVa until you got out to Gainesville out 66 or past Leesburg on 7. Of course, he could have driven out there just to make the video, but I don't think so.
That said, I don't own an FJ, and have no idea who this guy is, but I have seen the behavior he mentions. Look up Arock for a great lesson...

If you're putting yourself out there you have to be able to weather the storm. And you have to have a thick skin. Some times I get negative comments or criticism on whatever project I may be showing off, and sometimes it gets to me, but I never complain.
