A simple weekend on the shores of Lake Michigan

Very nice, I don't think I've ever gone camping by myself before. You seem at peace, kind of like when I used to go hunting by myself for the day.

It can be very peaceful, and I have done it many a time in the past.

I went by myself last month to Mt. Rainier, but it was not all that peaceful.
I was approached by curious campers the whole time there.

I am looking for some peace and solitude next season when I hit the "hidden" campsites along the forest service roads on the way up to Rainier.
