Oh yes, I too like abandoned places and things. Here are some I've come across.

This is from today actually. The wreck is visible from the highway, but I got a different view from my kayak today.

This is a little abandoned place near Wawa Ontario.

Oh yes, I too like abandoned places and things. Here are some I've come across.

This is from today actually. The wreck is visible from the highway, but I got a different view from my kayak today.

I recognized that boat right away from when we were on our way to Niagara Falls to get married back in '06. The La Grande Hermine just outside of St. Cathrines, Ontario. I guess it was a restraunt ship but failed.

Ghost town of Piedmont
































































The reason the town was built. The Charcoal Kilns of which these are the remains of the 40 that were originally built. These are a historic site and fenced off from the buildings of the ghost town which are on private property.

Overland Stage Stop at Point of Rocks. They restored the main buildings a few years ago, but left the remains of the corrals alone.
