Very cool. Unreal how it was just reclaimed.
There is one of these about an hour from my house visible from the highway. I have wondered what it was.
That crank shaft is a work of art. Would make a cool lamp.
I believe this is some sort of burning tower/furnace for maybe a sawmill ? https://mapio.net/pic/p-15315282/There is one of these about an hour from my house visible from the highway. I have wondered what it was.

Also called a "teepee", "wigwam" or "beehive" burner - for burning scrap/wood chips: https://www.google.com/search?q=old...r4PYCw&bih=1006&biw=1858&client=firefox-b-1-d
Ha Ha !
I only mentioned it a ”Church” as appears its where misguided souls worship the god Krylon.
Basically Beehives were used to create better draft, contain embers and just cover a giant bonfire of woodscraps.
More trivia, they were not common until electricity came to the sawmill.
Before electricity, Woodscraps fueled steamboilers what ran mill machinery and heated drying kilns.
