Add one more Cherokee...

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. It just felt good to turn another page in the build.

I'm not a big fan of chrome, but i think chrome lug nuts will look mighty fine on them thar new wheels:26_7_2:

Chrome, huh? I was thinking black, to match the center caps, but I guess I'll try it out beforehand. Generally, I too have a distaste for chrome.

I say chrome too.

I dig the wheels. Kinda "poor man" (smart man?) AEV wheels.

LOL

The AEV wheels were my inspiration, not gonna lie. But $180/wheel was just completely out of the budget. And they only come in 16". These 15" wheels are kind of my attempt at achieving the same image while spending about $150 for all five wheels...

Have you seen the new Goodyear MT/R?

They are quiet on the road, work really well in rock and have been good in the rain.

Sidewalls are arguably stronger than the BFG and I wasn't disappointed crawling through Johnson Valley earlier this month.

Yeah do not go chrome. We call it "Chromo-sexual" around here.

Black is the way to go, white is kinda cool to.

Just curious...what happens with the casting number? I have the same rear axle.

Also, nice jeep...just picked mine up as well. You know what...we need to start some kind of club for Cherokees...maybe a North American one since they have them all over the world. And just for XJs. That would be really cool:xxrotflma

some of the heads on 00-01 4.0 XJ were prone to cracking.
