Advice needed. Adding bumpers, winch, and lights on a 2022 Ram 3500 Megacab

Gears are 3.73. I don't know much about how the 37" effect this gear ratio. In order to get the 4.10, i would have had to choose DRW or maybe i could have gotten it with the Hemi, but I chose diesel and 3.73 by default. I never asked this question specifically, but this is the first time I'm hearing about this tradeoff. Thanks for the info. How do i compare the power band now versus what it was before? Would you say this is a priority to look into?
Concerning the powerband I mean to replicate the performance with stock tires. You might have to re-gear to get that stock performance back. It can always be done later though. Enjoy.

For a winch mount the AEV bumpers are the bet but have you considered the mount RAM uses on the PowerWagon....
I have no idea if it will fit but often factory parts are the best. And the Power Wagon mount fits behind the factory bumper.

Early on I strongly considered using the factory Power Wagon mount although three facts changed my mind:
  • Assembling all the factory part numbers was proving to be very difficult
  • The mount was only rated for a 12k winch and for my application numbers suggested 15k or larger
  • the mount required an expensive Mopar version of the Warn since clutch was clocked
I did call Warn and spoke with technical staff regarding the application and they confirmed that I would be able to clock the clutch on some of their 12k winches. They also stated that many of the internals on their 12k were identical to their 15k offerings so you could really push one of their 12ks pretty hard with few worries.

Here is some additional information in the attached PDF that I believe was compiled by another forum member. If anyone knows who completed the work let me know so I can give the proper credit.

I'm currently looking at upgrading my front bumper to the Expedition One bumper. I think the AEV bumper arguably looks the best, but if I recall correctly you actually loose approach angle. Prob not a big deal if you're not really wheeling hard or often. I've got an RSI cap, and the angles of the cap are similar to the angles of the expo1 bumper, so I think it will tie in nice. I also like the additional approach angle (although I don't wheel hard enough to justify needing it, the main pull is the winch).

Bumper mounting the spare is def more accessible, but as others have said, getting the tire back up is a bit much. Also, keep in mind that if you're not rotating that spare with the others, you're letting it sit and get rotted away by the sun, rain, snow, etc. It's not going to rot before the others, but if you just leave it up it may be bad by the time you need it. Other options are bed mounting or on top of your cap/rack/etc.

Chassis Unlimited makes several RAM options. They have some lighter/ lower profile options and a full guard add on depending on the year/ bumper. I'm a dealer for them. Feel free to message me if you want. I'll be glad to help
