Hi Daryl,

Sorry. Should have taken some pics of that before it left.

The TV was on a double knuckle arm with a quick connect mount plate fitted in the rear bed area. The mount plate is fitted close to where your righthand would fall as you climb up into bed. So the TV can swing out into the aisle way making it suitable for viewing from the front lounge. The omni direction antenna is on a telescopic pole that stows in the rear bin and clips to the rear panel of the body in use.

The actual TV was a 22" with inbuilt DVD, digital tuner and will support up to a 1gb hard drive. We are lucky that our motorhome operations manager spent 10 years in car audio so we've got a good handle on it.

Here , we supply an awning on both sides as standard.

I really like what I see, except this pic has me confused.

Why did you leave the huge loops of water line? I'm sure you have a valid reason, and I would like to know. Is it so you can lift the heater out as a unit to access an anode rod or drain plug without having to disconnect the plumbing?

Also, do you typically use nylon wire ties to secure plumbing? That seems like a way less desirable method than padded metal clamps and bolts. Ties are very cheap and fast, certainly..... Really secure, no.

Thanks.

Hi John, how are you?

The loops in the line are simply so as to avoid tight bends that might pull on the connection to the tank. If you could see in person, it would be clearer. The tank can be drained in situ.

No. Ties are not typically used. This plumbing system has its own specific fastening method....Approximately every 300mm and is still very secure and dead easy to install. See below. Ties were only used in that location shown to secure the lines, hoses and conduit together.

Actually I find large ties work really well in many applications but if a tie is to be used to hold something securely then it should be installed with the correct tool. IMO if a large zip tie needs to be tight, then this is the only way to achieve that result.

That is a very nice set up. I really rather like the washing system. It was very compact. Can you shed a little more light on that? Brand etc?

Thanks a lot for sharing those photos. Would you be willing to give an estimate of what something like that might set a guy back?

Regards,

For all our West Australian customers, we have some sad news........George , the manager of our Perth office, suffered a heart attack on Saturday night and passed away. Of course our thoughts are with his family but at this point all calls are being diverted to our main office. Thanks.

Regards
John.

The Sportsmobile folks have a nice-looking web site to market ATW products in USA. The site has been up since March, but I thnk it was re-designed recently.

The site says the prototype Sportsmobile hard sided popup seen at Overland ExPo will be offered as the ATW Bravo. I think the prototype used a Hi-Lo camper on a Fuso chassis, but Hi-Lo went out of business in 2010. So I'm uncertain what the Bravo will be.

Can't wait to see the pricing of the Alpha. Not that I could likely afford it but its fun to dream until I could afford it. LOL
