If anyone in the SE Queensland area is interested, ATW is going to have another Open Day to coincide with the completion of Global Warrior #008. The last one we ran was a great turnout and gave everyone a good opportunity to talk about their existing trucks or what they hope to own , how to modify them and just talk with like minded people. A few Isuzu staff will be there with some new NPS chassis, our driver trainer will be hanging around to answer some questions and whoever else we can persuade to visit....possibly our audio / nav guys......along with a few ATW staff to show off the latest Global Warrior motorhome. We don't normally have the opportunity to hold onto a finished motorhome long enough to display it so please drop in if you want to see one complete.

We'll have a free sausage sizzle, tea and coffee, etc......starting from 0800 till 1200 on Saturday, 16th November at the main factory, 44 Central Park Drive, Yandina. Please RSVP to sales@allterrainwarriors.com.au by the 14th so we can cater but all most welcome....... especially ExPo members!!!

Thanx in advance!

Great idea Daryl and Deane. Thanks. Will try to do something with #008 or maybe #009 before the handovers.

BTW Deane its looking like #012 might be on a U500. You were keen on those weren't you? Anyway, can't wait.

No worries Pete .... Was good to meet the better half. I know your boys enjoyed it.... Every time I looked around they were woofing down a burger.... You're going to need a second job to feed them when they hit teen age. Seriously Pete .... It was a pleasure to meet them finally.

Don't suppose you took any photos? I never gave it a thought on the day. Adrian and one other expo member were there ... Ill ask them too. I thought it went really well . Had some fly in from Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and a few drove as far as Casino....so that was humbling. We finished up about 4:00 with the final handover of #008

The guy mentions $125k price and that it has Auto, low range, and locking hubs. I thought the new Fusos and those with AT didn't have low range?

Looks nice seeing it actually moving. I really like the size and cabover design vs the more truck based options out there with long hoods. Would really like to see a drawing or pic of the fixed roof version (ex how are the windows done in the fixed roof section, etc.).

Also, I haven seen it in person but the wood slatted doors to the head and cabinets is kind of a turn off to me. I come from sailing and they remind me of cheap sailboat interiors, but maybe they look better in person. Wonder if its possible to get doors like the original Aussie version (white fiberglass?). Just looks cleaner to me but again haven't see it in person.

Real excited to see this available in the US. Especially at that price I might be able to buy one... Maybe.

Hi John
Congratulations to you and your staff for putting up a nice and interesting display. I had a good look at all the trucks , a lot of research and development went into the Global Warrior and the end product is certainly one of the best, if not the best on the market. The attention to detail is incredible and well thought out. To all at ATW…..well done.

Adrian

Hi John,

Thanks for your time on the weekend. The trucks were very impressive and it was great to be able to have another look through. I did take a few photos, only on the phone though. I haven't uploaded photos before, hope this works!

Hi Adrian

Thank you for the comments and of course for making the effort to attend. I know we only spoke for a couple of minutes but I hope you had a chance to chat with some of the other visitors. We had such a variety there.

Kind regards
John

Hi Deane,

I might move this over to the Sportsmobile FUSO thread.

I have no idea about the ATW USA pricing but I doubt this is correct......and the US FUSO still does not have low range .

As a matter of interest, the Australian FGB 71 was reintroduced last month with dual range transfer case . A SWB version is also now offered here. Maybe ( and this is pure speculation) FUSO North America will follow. No sign of an auto for us though.

Kind regards
John.
