Speaking of seats, that's one area where I would lodge a complaint against Toyota. My 03 DC had horrible seats compared to the ones in my 84 4runner or my first 95.5 Tacoma. That was one thing that had to go, and I went with some power/heated seats. I like the heated lumbar for my back, and when we do go to Colorado or Big Bend in the winter, the heated seats get hot instantly compared to the cab.

Once the cab is warmed up...it is well...warmed up, guess I don't see the need for heated seats. We have heated seats in the Trooper, I never use them...gets too hot for me.

I get fussed at..."you're not going to drive with the windows down, are you!?"....errr, I was planning on it, it isn't that cold out there...."it's snowing!"....yeah so?...

OK, lets get back to tearing into each other over the brand we all love.

LOL! Taste great! Less Filling!

YES!!!!!! Seat comfort has declined since 88... Picked up a bit in the 2nd Gen tacomas... Current tundra still sucks. 5th gen 4runner are great, imho

Related but unrelated....

How many would, if cash were not an issue, do a ground up/frame off build of an older toyota over buying new?

I would, I think.... Assuming time wasn't an issue.

This is probably in my future but not because of the c channel frame. I am sick of the 4wd knob and getting buzzed at for not seat belting my bag into the passenger seat. I also like lighter vehicles. It's the little things that bug.

I had the heated seats in my jetta gotta say I liked it. Like a few of you I also always have a window opened no matter the temps because I like the fresh air. But having that heat on my *** sure feels good when the temp is hovering around the low teens to well below zero for days and weeks on end. Heck even on the not super cold days but chilly enough to need the heat, just put the seats on and relax. I think that is what I like most about them just kinda relaxes me. But haven't owed it in 3 years and nothing else I own has it so oh well.

O7 Sequoia is basically just competing with the Suburban wide lazy boy style front seats with marginal support. The limited lacking lumbar on the passenger side is a cheap out move. I think any vehicle pushing 35+k should come with 6way or greater front power seats and any vehicle pushing 40+ should get cooled seating as an option. Its not a big cost to add those things from a parts cost, but it gives the buyer some added comfort for the $$$$ they are spending for a costly machine.
