Definitely Storz! Actually Carolina Rover Owners Club (CROC) is having a trail work weekend of the 20-21st at Uwarhee and I'm sure some trail riding will be happening as well!

Hope yo can make it Jonathan- I'm hoping to do the last run as well but I might be traveling before Christmas so I'll have to see. We need to find somewhere further east as well.

its looking like a go(at least for friday) yeah i know i wish we had somewhere closer..but ive yet to find anything though..there are alot more active owners popping up around us though so maybe we can round something up

Yeah-we need to find a new member with a farm or at least access to land. We always have OBX to cruise as well-bit of a drive but it would be fun in fall or early spring before all the tourists show up. Maybe we could meet up at Swan Quarter and take the ferry to Ocracoke and then over to Hatteras.

The last ride is in december. I think it is around the 12th but have to check. It is right before the trails are closed.

My parents live in the OBX, we hit the beach out there all the time. The Carova area north of Corrolla is awesome, makes a great day trip up the beach to the VA border and back

Well I got her home in one piece-compared to my IIa she's down right cushy.

I had some excitement about 50 miles from Dale's. There was some oncoming traffic and the lead car was stopped. Behind it was a pickup and a small travel trailer. I was approaching that and something told me to check for exits in case the stopped car turn in front of me-well that didn't happen but I sure needed the exit route. I heard that unmistakable sound of brakes and saw blue smoke approaching the camper-it was coming from a dually hauling a bobcat! The truck clipped the side of the camper and I saw the walls of it swell and then explode off it's chassis. The whole thing was headed right for me as I swerved off the road onto an easement that was not nearly as steep and the surrounding area, the camper rolled over towards me and I gunned it to get past the camper and swung it back up the shoulder onto the road. How I missed it I can not say it was way too close for comfort:Wow1: My wife was behind me in the 4R and I was praying she followed my line and avoided trouble-she did. No one was hurt in the collision-amazingly. The remains of the camper was blocking the whole road so I went ahead to warn on coming traffic and then proceeding home. The Gods of Lode Lane where with me today.

Thanks Dale-the thought running that I can repeat was-dang it (censored) I've only had this thing for 50 miles!

Jonathan, I'm thinking of bringing the DI this weekend-I don't know when I'm leaving yet. I'll send you a PM and let's hook up on the details.
