LOL, you guys are hilarious. But yeah, for sure man,...on one condition, you help me find a decent guide to navigate the waters of the Atchafalaya Basin in the very early morning around sunrise. A trip to the swamps of Louisiana has been looming heavy on my mind of late.

Beautiful winter pictures Trevor- I liked the framing and composition on this the best , the two (spruce?) trees in the foreground on the right tied it together well- eyes went around and back again.
I don't know of a guide, but I'd be more than willing to explore down there! When are we going?

Thanks Joash,...they're white cedar I believe. The irony of this shot is that it's the warmest of the bunch in terms it's colour thanks to the orangy/redish rising sun coming out of the east lending a warmed up colour cast to everything, you can see the sun just catching the tops of the trees across the cove, but it was by far the coldest morning I was out in. Convincing myself to get out of my sleeping bag was the biggest challenge of that morning.

I was thinking the fall maybe, Louisiana fall that is, when the cypress trees start showing a little red and orange foliage.
Two flaws with that idea, one: less wildlife two: tons of hunters.
