I actually used off camera flash on this shot to light the tree in the foreground.

Ok, that makes more sense! I was thinking she resembled the Michelen Man and you photochopped her in a pretty sunset shot.:sombrero:

Now that I know what it really is, that is any AMAZING shot!!

A few recent shots I haven't posted.

Early morn, after a stormy night. The sun poke through the clouds, side lighting this pine with wonderful warm light while the background remained dark by the passing clouds.

I'm unsure of this shot below, not really over the top pleased with it, but a few people I've shown it to liked it. Taken very early, pre sunrise. Can't exactly recall the exposure length, I want to say 5 seconds or so. The water was perfectly still but the exposure was just long enough to provide a blue glow to the rising steam coming off the water.

Another sunrise shot, taken on the eastern edge of the northern bruce peninsula. I don't recall the exact details but I'm pretty sure I needed a 3 stop hard grad to bring the sky in line with the foreground.

I'm more of a point-and-shoot guy with digital, though I could do decent work with an old Pentax and film, I still enjoy photography as a hobby. My wife started out in darkrooms in her teens and it evolved into a life-long career. Eventually, I'd love to get back on the road and let her experience the life traveling I grew up with. I, too, look to threads like this for a dose of travel when I'm stuck in one spot.

I just found this shot in my files, never posted it or uploaded it, but now that I look at it with fresh eyes, I really quite like it. I took this shot last fall on a windy day.
