Thanks so much for stopping along the way, and hope the route through Harper's Ferry paid off for you.

I was very impressed with the trailer and especially the frame underneath there. WOW is all I can say. I actually ran into a friend after you'd left who'd see you and I talking and Jeannie wanted to know all about the "cute trailer".

Sorry my son Max was being uncharacteristically shy, but then he thought you were there to deliver the trailer :Wow1:

Safe travels.

Martyn,
You made no mention of stopping in NM for New Mexican grub. Don't tell me you made it all the way across NM without stopping for a stacked enchilada?!

Ok...don't tell me :wings:

I met Claudia and Richard in Shenandoah National Park. They had just finished an expedition through North America. The following day they were due to ship their 6X6 Pinzgaur back to Europe through the Port of Baltimore.

Shared some good travel stories, gave them a copy of the Overland Journal. Interesting to meet fellow Overlanders in an organized campground.

I'll be leaving Elkton Maryland tomorrow, heading West.

My only plans are to pass through Denver and Salt Lake City.

If you want to see the Teardrop, or any of the other equipment I'm carrying let me know.

On the road again. Made it through Maryland and West Virginia yesterday. Tried to find a campsite on the Ohio River, but failed.

Ended up camping in the WalMart parking lot in Gallipolis OH. Apart from the diesel trucks not too bad a night. I can now say that I have done this feat, along with many others I think. My next goal is to camp at a KOA :sombrero:

Just west of Lexington Kentucky this morning, heading into Indiana.

The rout will be taking me through Denver and Salt Lake City. So if you are anywhere on I70 and would like me to stop by just call me on the Adventure Trailers toll free number.

Hey Everyone,

I just got off the phone with Martyn. He's spending the night on the Colorado River in the Grand Junction area, and will be in Salt Lake City tomorrow Monday 8/24. We are throwing a little gathering at my place for anyone interested in meeting up with Martyn and checking out the Teardrop trailer. The address is 1173 East 100 South, SLC, UT 84102. We'll be around from 6-10 pm. We'll have some burgers and sodas available, so come on by if you can. Let me know.

Cheers,
